Join us for our seventh annual Harvest on Henry Festival on Saturday, Oct. 14, from noon to 4 p.m. at Weavers Way's Henry Got Crops Farm on the grounds of Saul Agricultural High School in Roxborough.
Harvest on Henry is a day of fun on the farm, with guaranteed good times for the whole family. Hop a hayride and tour the farm, get up close and personal with the farm’s sheep and cows, or paint a pumpkin to take home! Enjoy live music and partake in our games and activities — pumpkin golf, pumpkin bowling and pumpkin ring toss, to name just a few.
Calling All Bakers!
You can also be a part of it in our yearly bake sale. Bring a pie, cake, brownies or cookies to be sliced and served alongside offerings from the Saul students, who will be churning delicious homemade ice cream!
Live Music, Demos and Vendors!
Live music will keep your feet tapping all day. We'll also have a cultivated selection of vendors and demos on hand:
- Learn how to spin wool with the Philadelphia Handweavers Guild.
- Explore information about honey and bees from the Philadelphia Beekeeper’s Guild.
- Listen to harvest-themed storytelling.
- Purchase handwoven baskets, local honey and more!
Don't forget to buy some apples and pumpkins to take home with you, too!
Admission is free; purchase activity/game tickets at the entrance. All proceeds go to Weavers Way Farm operations.
Henry Got Crops! CSA Farm is at Saul Agricultural High School, 7095 Henry Ave. in Roxborough. Parking is free along Henry Avenue; the Route 27 bus stops right in front of the farm.
