Weavers Way Homesteading Workshop: Make Simple Fresh Cheeses at Home

Wednesday, October 25, 2017 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Learn the simple and delicious joy of making fresh cheeses at home with this class taught by cheesemonger and food writer Alex Jones.

In just a few quick steps and with simple ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, you can make your own whole milk ricotta and paneer at home! You’ll learn about the benefits of grass-fed milk and the culture and science around these fresh cheeses as well as how they’re made. We’ll enjoy the finished product in a few simple, seasonal dishes at the end of class, and you’ll leave with recipes and resources you can use to make these tasty, nutritious cheeses at home.

This workshop will also include a sampling of select Weavers Way cheeses selected by Co-op Cheesemonger Shawn O'Connell as well as the opportunity to purchase cheeses at a discount!

$22.75 per person, REGISTER HERE.
