Workshop: Mindfulness for the Holidays - A Roadmap to Sanity

Tuesday, November 19, 2019 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Most of us approach the holiday season with excitement and trepidation. Will family members be on their best behavior when sitting down for dinner? What if that toddler niece goes on a rampage, tearing open every gift in sight? Or you pull burnt cookies out of the oven just as your hypercritical sister comes knocking? Even if we don’t have to endure such overt scenes, family coming together wakes up old habits we often too easily slip into given the slightest provocation.

This short workshop offers you a playful roadmap out of these dreaded holiday scenarios so you can arrive newly with your family! Weavers Way Health & Wellness Committee members Rachel Kriger and Esther Wyss-Flamm will present a way of looking at this time of year and enjoying the family in a way that is grounded in the science of acupuncture and mindful movement that includes specific tools to maintain your sanity.

>>FREE. Pre-registration is required. REGISTER HERE.
