Weavers Way Mercantile is OPEN through December 31, 2017 ONLY!
Don't miss our Black Friday Fling at Weavers Way Mercantile, Friday, Nov. 24. Join us for free samples and music while you shop local in a festive (and delicious) environment!
The Mercantile is an extended pop-up shop in the raw space of an old garage at 542 Carpenter Lane in Mt. Airy. It’s a home and garden store, built out as an expansion of the Co-op’s general merchandise, housewares and floral departments. You’ll find urban homesteading supplies, hard goods, tools for indoors and out, well-crafted artisanal gifts, sustainably sourced Christmas trees, holiday decorations, vintage and up-cycled small furnishings, artwork and more — all put together with a few good surprises and a little bit of pure frivolity.
Who needs more stuff? More stuff isn’t what this is about. Instead, come find something long lasting, meaningful and genuinely useful.
Is your interest in living sustainably growing? Are you experimenting with cooking from scratch, preserving homegrown foods or making your own cheese or soap? Do you want to share your experience making things for the people you love? The Mercantile has what you need and what you need to give, including carefully selected books, bulk herbs and beeswax, live plants, kitchen gear, and all the best containers, pots, jars and tins.
Weavers Way Mercantile also houses a dynamic community space for learning and sharing about cooking with whole foods, crafting, gardening and natural living. A full roster of events is planned throughout December, including: DIY Holiday Wreaths (Dec. 7 and 21); Crafting by the Fire (Dec. 10); Herbal Cocktails (Dec. 12); Essential Oils 101 (Dec. 13); and more. Check out the Online Events Calendar or the Weavers Way workshop page for the latest.
Come see us Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. We're closed Monday, but you can always email or call: email@example.com / 215-843-2350, ext. 288.
